Fallen Tree at United Christian Hospital

The spokesperson for United Christian Hospital (UCH) made the following announcement today (August 23):
A tree at United Christian Hospital collapsed at 9am owing to strong wind and caused complete blockage to Sau Nga Road. All vehicles could not access the Hospital via Sau Nga Road. Upon the collapse of the tree, the Hospital immediately informed the Police and fire services to handle the incident. The Hospital had informed Hospital Authority Head Office and activated the emergency response mechanism. Ambulance will convey patients to other hospitals with Accident and Emergency Departments until Sau Nga Road is cleared. The Accident and Emergency Department in United Christian Hospital will continue to provide services. The public in need can access the Hospital through Hip Wo Street or can go to other hospitals.
