Jin Yong has created many characters in his novels, including members of royal families, wealthy and honoured figures, tradesmen and porters, wretched and vulgar people, extraordinary masters living in seclusion, heroes and beauties. Dr Yeung will discuss their goals in life, and share and exchange views with the participants.

The second topic is "Jin Yong's Novels: Reading, Revising and Critiquing". Mr Poon will talk about his interactions with Jin Yong's novels spanning 40 years, ranging from watching adapted movies and TV dramas and reading original novels to reviewing the novels and an acquaintance of Jin Yong.

Dr Yeung is a renowned Hong Kong author and Honorary President of the Hong Kong Novelist Association. Mr Poon is a linguist, Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Writers Association and a researcher of Jin Yong's works.
