Mrs Dorothy Ma will assume the post of District Officer (Southern) tomorrow (August 14), succeeding Mr Chow Chor-tim.

     Mrs Ma joined the Administrative Service in 1992. She has served in various bureaux and departments including the former Planning, Environment and Lands Branch; the former City and New Territories Administration; the former New Airport Projects Co-ordination Office; the former Information Technology and Broadcasting Bureau; the former Constitutional Affairs Bureau; the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau; and the University Grants Committee.

     She was the Principal Assistant Secretary for the Environment (Energy) before taking up the new post.
