Police appeal for information on a pending false imprisonment case

     The Regional Crime Squad of Kowloon West is actively investigating a pending false imprisonment case reported by a 42-year-old man surnamed Lam. The man reported the case to Police on August 11 that he was unwillingly forced into a light goods vehicle of dark colour on Portland Street in Yau Ma Tei at about 4pm to 6pm on August 10 and was released in Sai Kung at about 2am on August 11.

     Police today (August 12) appealed to the public for information regarding the case. Anyone who had witnessed the occurrence of the case or has any related information to provide is urged to contact the Police on 3661 8254, 3661 8383 or 9020 2194.
