FS to officiate at opening ceremony of Jakarta ETO

While in Jakarta, Mr Chan will also deliver a keynote speech at a business seminar on the Belt and Road Initiative, which is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Jakarta ETO, to promote cooperation between Hong Kong and Indonesia in seizing the enormous opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative.
He will also take the opportunity to meet with financial officials and business leaders to strengthen trade and economic ties between Hong Kong and Indonesia.
Mr Chan will return to Hong Kong in the evening on July 27.
During his absence, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr James Lau, will act as Financial Secretary.
