Fish and Game from UK to present comedy theatre work "The Polar Bears Go Up" (with photos)
***************************************************************

Fish and Game from the UK will present its latest theatre production, "The Polar Bears Go Up", for children and their parents in August. With humorous dance routines and stunts, a lively soundtrack and innovative use of props, the group's two mischievous and intrepid arctic heroes will take audience members on an exhilarating and adventurous journey.

"The Polar Bears Go Up", touring internationally for the first time this year, is one of the group's major productions. The story revolves around two kooky polar bears who become ecstatic when they receive a gold star-shaped balloon in a mystery gift box. However, when the balloon floats away, the bears must try every way they can to get it back. They bounce on a trampoline, climb a tree, hop on a cable car and even fly a plane, all to no avail. The only way left is to build their own rocket and head for the stars.

The Scottish company Fish and Game, which specialises in inventive shows for younger audiences, was founded in 2005. Since then, more than 50 original works have been produced and shown nationally and overseas. Entertaining and experimental both in content and form, their works are interdisciplinary, spanning theatre, live art, visual art, music, dance and comedy.
