Sale of Rescinded Flats for Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Pilot Scheme
*****************************************************************************
The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Housing Authority:

The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) will soon start sending letters to notify eligible "other family" applicants of the Sale of Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Pilot Scheme (GSH) - King Tai Court and invite them to select rescinded flats from end of this month.

The HA announced earlier that all GSH - King Tai Court flats recovered from rescission of sale and purchase agreements will be resold in one go after all flat buyers have completed the execution of assignments. Eligible applicants under the "other family" application category of the GSH sale exercise will be invited to select the rescinded flats based on the ballot result and the order generated by computer in December 2016.

A spokesman for the HA said today (July 18) that the execution of assignments by buyers of King Tai Court is now in progress. According to the latest progress, it is expected that all buyers will complete the assignment execution by the end of July. As at today, nine rescinded flats had been recovered.

As GSH and Home Ownership Scheme are two different sale schemes and involve different applicants, the resale of rescinded GSH flats will end before the HA commences flat selection for the Sale of Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2017 (tentatively scheduled for the latter half of August).
