Agenda of today's LegCo meeting revised

The agenda of the Legislative Council (LegCo) meeting to be held today (July 12) at 11am in the Chamber of the LegCo Complex, has been revised. In addition to the original items, the President of LegCo has given permission for Mr Hui Chi-fung to present a petition under Rule 20 of the Rules of Procedure. Details please refer to the Attachment.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Mr Abraham Shek, will present the "Report of the Public Accounts Committee on Report No. 68 of the Director of Audit on the Results of Value for Money Audits (July 2017 - P.A.C. Report No. 68)" and address the Council on the Report.
The Chairman of the Committee on Rules of Procedure, Mr Paul Tse, will present the "Committee on Rules of Procedure of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Progress Report for the period October 2016 to July 2017" and address the Council on the Report.
The Deputy Chairman of the Panel on Financial Affairs, Mr Kenneth Leung, will present the "Report of the Panel on Financial Affairs 2016-2017" and address the Council on the Report.
Mr Ma Fung-kwok will move a proposed resolution under section 34(4) of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance to extend the period for amending the Electoral Affairs Commission (Electoral Procedure) (Legislative Council) (Amendment) Regulation 2017, the Electoral Affairs Commission (Electoral Procedure) (District Councils) (Amendment) Regulation 2017, the Electoral Affairs Commission (Electoral Procedure) (Election Committee) (Amendment) Regulation 2017, the Electoral Procedure (Chief Executive Election) (Amendment) Regulation 2017 and the Electoral Procedure (Rural Representative Election) (Amendment) Regulation 2017 laid on the table of the Council on June 28, 2017 to the first sitting of the next session of LegCo held not earlier than the twenty-first day after the day of the second sitting in that next session.
