Chongqing Chuan Theatre programme change

     Due to health reasons, the main actress Shen Tiemei has withdrawn and there will be a change of programme for upcoming performances by Chongqing Chuan Theatre, part of the "Chinese Opera Festival 2017" presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Details are as follows:

July 15 (Saturday) 7.30pm
Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall
Programme has been changed to "Xiao Fang the Ferocious Tiger"
Main Cast: Xu Chao, Li Qiuping, Wang Bei, Yi Chuanlin, Feng Shihai, Wang Tao, Zhou Yuping, Wang Qi

July 16 (Sunday) 2.30pm
Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall
Excerpts: "Yearning for the Secular World" (main actress has been changed to Wu Xi) (Gaoqiang), "Battle at Mount Tielong" (Gaoqiang), "Capturing the Tiger" (Dengxi), "Forcing her Nephew to Take the Imperial Examination" (Gaoqiang); and an additional excerpt "Killing Boshe" (Cast: Hu Yubin, Wang Tao)

     Tickets priced at $150, $220, $300 and $380 are now available at URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). For telephone credit card bookings, please call 2111 5999.

     Original tickets are still valid for the updated programme. Patrons who wish to request a refund must present the original intact ticket(s) at URBTIX box office of Hong Kong Cultural Centre or Hong Kong City Hall (10am-9.30pm daily) from July 15 to August 3. Refund arrangement for the performance of July 15 is only applicable to the tickets imprinted with "SICHUAN OPERA LI YAXIAN".
