Space Museum launches new 3D dome show "We Are Stars 3D" (with photos)
**********************************************************************
The Hong Kong Space Museum's new 3D dome show, "We Are Stars 3D", which takes audiences on an amazing journey through time and space to learn about the extraordinary stories of the universe, will be launched tomorrow (July 1).

The show takes audiences back to the eras before the Earth was formed to see the most important event of cosmic history - the Big Bang - and witness the formation of the first atoms when the universe was just 380 000 years old. The show explains how atoms were pulled by gravity to form the first stars and joined together to form molecules, from the simple molecule of water to the complex molecules of proteins, one of the building blocks of life. In fact, the human body is a cluster of atoms that originated in stars.

"We Are Stars 3D" seeks to answer some of the fundamental questions, such as "What are we made of?" and "Where did it all come from?". The show also explores the secrets of cosmic chemistry, allowing audiences to learn more about the connection between the Big Bang and the evolution of life on Earth and the universe.

The 26-minute show will be screened until December 31 at the museum's Stanley Ho Space Theatre. It will be screened daily at 2.40pm and 6.10pm. An additional show at 11.10am will be available on Sundays and public holidays.

Tickets priced at $24 (front stalls) and $32 (stalls) are available at the Hong Kong Space Museum Box Office and URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). The museum is closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays).
