Reporter: What is your expectation towards the next government on housing issues? Will you still devote yourself to housing issues after you finish your term?
Secretary for Transport and Housing: Housing is the priority of priorities of the current government. I understand that the next Chief Executive has also regarded housing as a very important item on her agenda. In this government, we have tried our best to set out the long term housing strategy, to make available housing land and to adjust various measures to facilitate the planning process for land for housing use. Now, I have to say that the process has not been as easy as we had initially expected five years ago. But I think we have laid a good foundation and hope that the next administration will carry on our work. Of course, for any new administration, it may have more ideas. I would, of course, look forward to the next administration continuing the effort that we have started. As a private citizen I would continue to be concerned with housing, because over the last quarter of the century I have been with the Housing Authority and I know how difficult it is, sometimes, to take housing policy and housing construction forward. If you look at housing today, compared to the 1990s, I think we have witnessed a lot of improvements. I suppose there are still challenges to be overcome.
