Funding Scheme for International Youth Exchange (2017-18) opens for application
***************************************************************

The Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) today (June 23) launched the Funding Scheme for International Youth Exchange (2017-18). The application period will close at 5pm on July 31 (Monday).

To provide more international exchange opportunities for young people to broaden their horizons, the HAB has launched a new funding Scheme for International Youth Exchange with the additional provision of $100 million under the 2017-18 Budget.

The Funding Scheme for International Youth Exchange subsidises, in the form of a matching grant, non-profit-making organisations, statutory bodies or charitable organisations to organise international youth exchange activities including outbound visits, bilateral visits and multilateral exchange activities, for Hong Kong youths aged from 15 to 29 to have in-depth exchange with young people overseas.

Interested parties are invited to join the briefing session to be held at the Y Studio, 2/F, Youth Square, 238 Chai Wan Road, Hong Kong on July 6 (Thursday) to learn more about the funding scheme. Prior reservation is required.

Please visit HAB's website (www.hab.gov.hk) for details, including how to apply for the funding scheme and enrolment for the briefing session. For enquiries, please contact HAB at 3509 8748.
