***************************************************************

A planning exhibition, a museum festival and a lantern display are among the major events opening in the coming days as part of celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

To celebrate the anniversary, the Development Bureau and the Planning Department will present "Hong Kong ∞ Impression", an exhibition that will showcase the achievements of planning and infrastructure developments over the past 20 years and look ahead to the city's future possibilities.

With the theme of "Infinitely Hong Kong", this artistically inspired exhibition will be composed of four exhibition zones - "Liveable", "Visionary", "Cultural" and "Playful".

The exhibition will be held from June 20 (Tuesday) to November 30 at the City Gallery, 3 Edinburgh Place, Central (near City Hall Lower Block). It will be open from 10am to 6pm and closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays and the first day of the exhibition). Admission is free.

Members of the public can also join the community activities such as a Family Fun Day and a series of workshops. Details of the exhibition and registration for the activities will be uploaded to the event website www.citygallery.gov.hk tomorrow (June 19). For enquiries, please call 3102 1242.
