***************************************************************

Two design exhibitions are among the major events being held this week to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

To promote the co-evolving and independent development of Hong Kong's creative ecologies and celebrate the HKSAR's 20th anniversary, the "Confluence • 20+" exhibition, organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre and presented by Create Hong Kong, will feature the projects of 20 locally and internationally renowned design units.

The "Confluence • 20+" exhibition series, supplemented with an array of workshops and activities, was unveiled in Milan and will come to Hong Kong before travelling to Seoul and Chicago. Every "Confluence • 20+" exhibit is a premium art piece conceived through an in-depth odyssey in search of creativity, reflecting Hong Kong's achievements in design over the past 20 years.

The exhibition's Hong Kong edition will be open to the public for free from June 6 (Tuesday) to June 28 at the Exhibition Hall, 1/F, Low Block, Hong Kong City Hall. The exhibition hours will be from 10am to 8pm daily. For more information, please visit www.confluence20.hk.
