Appointment of directors of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited

The Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (HKCMCL) today (June 2) announced the appointment of three new Directors and the re-appointment of two serving Directors to its Board of Directors from June 5, 2017, to March 31, 2019.
The three new Directors are the Founding President of Invotech, Dr Gregg G Ka-lok Li; former Director of Planning, Mr Ling Kar-kan; and the Executive Director of Yau Lee Holdings Limited, Ms Rosana Wong Wai-man. All of them have rich management experience and expertise in a wide range of businesses.
The two re-appointed Directors are Dr Edwin Lee Kan-hing and Mr Lau Chun-kong.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr George Lam, welcomed the appointments. "With their wealth of experience and expertise, the newly appointed and re-appointed Directors together with other Board Directors, will no doubt lead Cyberport in making Hong Kong a leading innovation and digital technology hub, through nurturing information and communications technology (ICT) talents and start-ups, as well as clustering quality ICT and related companies to foster the growth of the innovation and technology ecosystem," Dr Lam said.
The HKCMCL expressed gratitude to the outgoing Directors, Mr Peter Yan King-shun and Mr Douglas So Cheung-tak, for their valuable support and contribution to Cyberport over the years.
With the new appointments and re-appointments, there will be 14 Directors on the Board. The full membership of the Board with effect from June 5, 2017 is as follows:

The HKCMCL is one of the three private and wholly owned companies set up by the Government under the Financial Secretary Incorporated to oversee the development, management and operation of the Cyberport Project. The Board of Directors provides policy and strategic guidance to the HKCMCL on its business development, as well as oversight over corporate performance and governance.
