HA releases Medication Safety Bulletin

The Hospital Authority (HA) today (May 26) published the biannual issue of the Medication Safety Bulletin (MSB). The highlight of this issue is the Annual Medication Safety Forum - "Medication Safety in Our Hands" - which was held in December 2016 as one of HA's continuing initiatives to promote risk management among healthcare professionals in public hospitals.
The latest issue also deliberates on further enhancing the alert on patients' possible or known drug allergies, and reports how Hong Kong East Cluster has shared and learned from its near-miss incidents.
The publication has already been posted on the Internet for sharing with healthcare professionals. Members of the public are also welcome to browse at the following link www.ha.org.hk/msb.
The MSB is published every six months, on the last Fridays of May and November. The next issue will be published on November 24, 2017.
