Man holding charged with attempted murder

     Police today (May 9) laid a holding charge against a 37-year-old man with one count of attempted murder.

     The man was arrested yesterday (May 8) in suspected connection with an attempted murder case in Wan Chai on the same day, in which he was suspected to have used a knife to attack his 33-year-old ex-wife.

     The case will be mentioned at Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (May 10).
