     Legislative Council (LegCo) Members conducted a site visit today (May 4) to Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH) to better understand the operation of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) Department at a public hospital.

     Members visited the Antenatal Ward, the First Stage Ward and the Delivery Suites at PWH.  Members then met with the representatives of the Food and Health Bureau as well as the Hospital Authority (HA) to follow up on the matters relating to utilisation of HA's resource on O&G services.

     Members who participated in the site visit are LegCo Redress System Duty Roster Member, Dr Kwok Ka-ki (Convenor), and the invited Members, Dr Fernando Cheung and Mr Lam Cheuk-ting.
