Appeal for information on dead body found in Castle Peak (with photos)

     Police today (April 27) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Castle Peak on March 24.

     At about 3.30pm that day, Police received a report that some human bones were found at a mountainside on Tsing Shan Monastery Path. Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances.

     Some clothes suspected to have belonged to the deceased were found at scene, including a black short-sleeved collared shirt, a black shoe, a black leather belt and blue jeans. No identity document was found in the possession of the deceased.

     Anyone who knows the deceased or has any information to offer is urged to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Castle Peak Division on 3661 5936.
