DEVB responds to media enquiries
********************************

In response to media enquiries about a case in Tsim Sha Tsui where the window of a Government car was smashed yesterday (April 25), a spokesman for the Development Bureau (DEVB) confirmed that the car is a saloon car for the Secretary for Development, Mr Eric Ma.

The car was parked inside Hong Kong Science Museum yesterday evening when the window of the car was found smashed. A tablet computer and small amount of government documents with a briefcase inside the car were stolen.

DEVB has promptly stopped the function of the tablet computer through remote control. Those suspected stolen documents do not contain personal data of the public.

DEVB has reported the theft of government documents to the Government Security Officer and the case will be handled according to established procedures.
