Employer fined for violation of safety legislation

Fu Yo Warehouse Logistics Company Limited was fined $20,000 at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts today (April 25) for violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance. The prosecution was launched by the Labour Department.

The case involved a fatal accident that occurred in Kwai Chung on May 16, 2016, in which a worker fell to his death while he was working on the tail lift platform of a lorry.
