Public library opening hours for Ching Ming Festival and Easter

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (March 24) that all public libraries will be closed on Good Friday (April 14), but Students' Study Rooms will remain open from 8am to 9.30pm.

     Apart from individual libraries' closing days, public library opening hours on Ching Ming Festival (April 4), the day following Good Friday (April 15) and Easter Monday (April 17) will be the same as on other public holidays.

     The Multimedia Information System (MMIS) will be suspended from 9pm on April 13 to 6pm on April 14 and from 7.30pm on April 15 to 8am on April 16. Library mobile app services, Internet and telephone renewal services and other online library services, including the library catalogue, borrowers' record enquiries, reservation of library materials and Internet and Digital Service Workstations and electronic resources (e-Books and e-Databases) will be suspended from 7am to 2pm on April 14 and from 7.30pm on April 15 to 8am on April 16.
