Fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan

About 23.05pm, a coach driven by a 43-year-old man was travelling along Cheung Pei Shan Road towards Tuen Mun. When reaching near Castle Peak Road – Tsuen Wan, it reportedly rammed into the 76-year-old man. After the impact, the coach left the scene and later returned.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was certified dead at scene.
The 43-year-old coach driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death. He is being detained pending further enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
