Murder and suicide in Wong Tai Sin

About 7am today, Police received a report from a security guard that a person fell from height at a housing estate on Fung Shing Street, Wong Tai Sin. Police also received a report from a 50-year-old woman that she received message from her 58-year-old brother and suspected that he would commit suicide.
Police sped to the above location for investigation and found a man lying unconsciously on a flowerbed at the podium. The man was rushed to United Christian Hospital where he was later certified dead.
Police also found the man’s 56-year-old wife lying unconsciously in a unit. She was certified dead at scene.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of their deaths.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Wong Tai Sin District are under way.
