Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok, before he departed for Guangzhou at Hung Hom Station this afternoon (February 15):

Reporter: Will the case of Mr Xiao Jianhua be discussed in your trip to Guangzhou this time?

Secretary for Security: It is only an annual spring visit so there will be no discussion on various issues because it is just a courtesy call.

Reporter: What is your comment to the seven police officers' verdict yesterday?

Secretary for Security: As what I said earlier in Chinese, after the verdict (was delivered) there are various kinds of comments. As the judicial proceeding is still ongoing, I am not going to give any comment at this stage.
