LegCo to debate on Policy Address

The Legislative Council (LegCo) will hold a meeting on Wednesday (February 15) at 11am and Thursday (February 16) and Friday (February 17) at 9am in the Chamber of the LegCo Complex. During the meeting, Members will speak on "Motion of Thanks", to be moved by Ms Starry Lee, which states: "That this Council thanks the Chief Executive for his address."
Mr Wu Chi-wai, Dr Fernando Cheung and Mr Shiu Ka-chun, will move separate amendments to Ms Lee's motion.
Mr Frankie Yick will move a proposed resolution under section 34(4) of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance to extend the period for amending the Schedule of Routes (Citybus Limited) Order 2017, the Schedule of Routes (Citybus Limited) (North Lantau and Chek Lap Kok Airport) Order 2017, the Schedule of Routes (Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited) Order 2017, the Schedule of Routes (Long Win Bus Company Limited) Order 2017, the Schedule of Routes (New Lantao Bus Company (1973) Limited) Order 2017 and the Schedule of Routes (New World First Bus Services Limited) Order 2017 laid on the table of the Council on January 18, 2017 to the meeting of March 22, 2017.
During the meeting, Members will also ask the Government 22 questions on various policy areas, all of which require written replies.
