Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate two public processions to be held on Hong Kong Island this Sunday (February 5).

(1)
     The following roads will be intermittently closed from 10.30am until the crowd is dispersed:

- Eastbound City Garden Road;
- Eastbound Wharf Road;
- Southbound North Point Road;
- Eastbound Java Road;
- Southbound Kam Hong Street; and
- Westbound King’s Road.

     Westbound Hennessy Road between Jardine’s Bazaar and O’ Brien Road will be intermittently closed from 3pm until the crowd is dispersed.

     During the road closure period, vehicles may not be allowed to leave the car parks along the procession routes.

     Actual implementation of traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the areas. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
