"Under the Starry Night" outdoor film screenings in North District to be held this weekend

     ​The "Under the Starry Night" outdoor film screenings will take place in the evenings this weekend (January 21 and 22) at the Fanling Recreation Ground grass football pitch. Members of the public are welcome to watch movies on the grass pitch under a starry night and experience the great fun of outdoor film screening.
      
     The outdoor film screenings, organised by the North District Office and co-organised by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, are the first in a series of activities in North District in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
      
     The event will start with the movie "Little Big Master", followed by the screening of a further three titles, namely "Frozen" (January 21), "McDull, Rise of the Rice Cooker" (January 22) and "Midnight Diner 2" (January 22). All titles are good for any age.
      
     The event will start at 5.30pm, featuring live string performances of famous movie title songs by a local chamber group.
      
     Admission is free. Participants are welcome to be laid back and use their own seating mat or stool, and enjoy a fantastic weekend in technicolour. Space is limited, so people are advised to arrive early. For details, please visit the dedicated Facebook page.
