Sha Tin ballet performance celebrating HKSAR 20th anniversary this Sunday
     Sha Tin District Office will hold a grand opening-cum-ballet performance this Sunday (January 15) to mark the start of celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China in the district. Admission is free and members of the public are invited to join in.
     A series of celebration activities will be launched in Sha Tin District to share the joy of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR with the community.
     The grand opening will be held at the Main Plaza of Sha Tin Park at 5pm. The internationally renowned Saint Petersburg Theatre Russian Ballet will perform Tchaikovsky's ballet classic "Swan Lake". Detailed briefings by a docent and interactive sessions will be available to help the audience understand and enjoy the show.
     The programme is an outdoor performance and admission is free. Seats are available on first-come, first-served basis. Please call the Sha Tin District Office at 2158 5382 for enquiries.
