*************************************************************************
Imperial Treasure Restaurant Group, a two-Michelin-star restaurant group from Singapore, announced today (January 10) that it has opened its first restaurant in Hong Kong, tapping the city's reputation as the culinary capital of Asia to promote its authentic fine Cantonese cuisine to customers in the city.

Located at One Peking in Tsim Sha Tsui, the new restaurant showcases a vast array of fine cuisine, where diners can enjoy impeccable service and the skyline view of the majestic Victoria Harbour. It is also the Group's first venture into the Hong Kong market, according to the CEO and Founder of Imperial Treasure Restaurant Group, Mr Alfred Leung.

Mr Leung said, "Hong Kong has always been close to my heart since this is my home city. We have always been looking for an opportunity to share our delicacies with the Hong Kong community. And this year we found the right location and timing to do so."

He added, "Hong Kong is the culinary capital of Asia, and we believe that we have the right offering to delight our customers here. We have spent tens of millions of dollars on the design and fit-out of the restaurant and already have plans to open a second fine-dining outlet in the city by mid-2017. We also plan to set up our presence in other international cities like London, Paris, Tokyo and Seoul in the next few years."

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion Dr Jimmy Chiang said, "Hong Kong's restaurant scene is thriving. We're happy to see another Michelin-starred brand open its first Hong Kong restaurant. It not only shows Hong Kong's attraction as a culinary destination, but also offers diners more choices of upmarket cuisine."
