The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, will lead a Hong Kong delegation to Guangzhou tomorrow (January 6) to co-chair with the Director-General of the Environmental Protection Department of Guangdong Province, Mr Lu Xiulu, the 16th meeting of the Hong Kong-Guangdong Joint Working Group on Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection.

     During the meeting, both sides will review the progress of the environmental collaboration in 2016, and agree on a work plan for 2017.

     Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong tomorrow afternoon.
