Youth Music and Band Marathon to be staged at HK Cultural Centre Piazza this Sunday (with photos)

     The Youth Music and Band Marathon, showcasing more than 15 youth bands and singers to offer an energetic seven-hour concert, will be staged at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza this Sunday (January 8) from 1pm. Admission is free.

     With Joe Chan as the emcee, the youth bands and singers will perform dynamic and vibrant music including original, pop, rock and orchestral music. Performing groups will include six bands and orchestras of the Music Office, local band NewYouthBarbershop and singer-songwriter Panther Chan to bring new-generation music to the audience.
 
     There will also be a creative and interesting Youth Handicraft Market for the public to visit.
 
     Youth Music and Band Marathon is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, with Caritas Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association, Renaissance Foundation and the Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong as programme partners.
