Temporary traffic arrangement for tram track renewal works on Des Voeux Road Central in Central from next Monday

     The Transport Department (TD) today (December 29) reminded the public that the offside lane of Des Voeux Road Central westbound from its junction with Jackson Road to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except trams) from 8am next Monday (January 2, 2017) to 8.59am on January 9 (Monday), to facilitate tram track renewal works in Central district.

     Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.

     The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and implement appropriate measures as necessary. The public are advised to be alert to the latest traffic news on radio and television.
