********************************************************
At the invitation of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), veteran stage management practitioner Peter Li will hold "Lecture and Workshop on Stage Management (5)" in February next year.

In the lectures and workshops, Li will once again offer pointers for stage management teams and discuss why one must consider both the artistic and technical aspects of a performance in order to achieve the best results. The lectures will be held on February 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 7.45pm at Tsuen Wan Town Hall Exhibition Gallery with topics on "Stage facilities", "The functions of the experimental theatre, the studio theatre and the black box theatre", "Venue equipment and in-situ set-up: co-ordination and operation" and "How to co-ordinate and work with the technical team" respectively. Tickets for each lecture are priced at $60.

The workshops will be held at the Yuen Long Theatre Auditorium at 7.45pm. The "Understanding structure and operation of counterweight system" workshop will be held on February 20, 23 or 25, while another one on "Understanding lighting installation and control" will be held on February 21, 24 or 26 (the session for February 26 will start at 2.15pm). In 1992, he won the Best Lighting Design award at the first Hong Kong Drama Awards presented by the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies.
