SHA to visit Guangzhou and Foshan

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, will lead a delegation of local groups promoting Cantonese opera to visit Guangzhou and Foshan on Thursday (December 1).

     Mr Lau and the delegation will visit the Department of Culture of Guangdong Province, and meet with people from institutes in relation to Cantonese opera, such as troupes, training schools and museums to exchange views.

     Mr Lau will return to Hong Kong in the evening on December 2.
