LCSD holds talk on "The World of the Palace Museum; the Palace Museum of the World" (with photos)

     ​The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) today (November 28) held a talk entitled "The World of the Palace Museum; the Palace Museum of the World", inviting the Director of the Palace Museum, Dr Shan Jixiang, to share his experience in conserving national heritage artefacts and repairing ancient building complexes.
 
     Speaking at the talk, the Under Secretary for Home Affairs, Ms Florence Hui, said that through Dr Shan's interesting talk, the participants could learn more about the world of the Palace Museum, the efforts the museum team has devoted to conserving historical buildings and heritages artefacts, how the museum makes good use of new technologies and media to catch up with the trends, and how to launch cultural and creative products for brand building.
 
     The talk was held at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium and received an overwhelming response with an attendance of over 2 000 people including around 1 700 students from 39 secondary and primary schools.
