Temporary traffic arrangement for trial run of tram track renewal works on Hennessy Road in Wan Chai from Thursday

     The Transport Department (TD) today (November 7) reminded the public that the offside lane of Hennessy Road westbound from its junction with Percival Street to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicles (except trams) from 9am on Thursday (November 10) to noon next Wednesday (November 16), to facilitate a trial run of the tram track renewal works.

     Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on-site to guide motorists.

     The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and implement appropriate measures whenever necessary. The public are advised to be alert to the latest traffic news on radio and television.
