Wounding case in Tin Shui Wai reclassified as attempted murder

About 9.40pm that day, Police received a report that a woman was attacked in a unit in Yat To House of Tin Yat Estate in Tin Shui Wai. Upon arrival, Police officers located a 52-year-old woman who sustained head, face, neck and chest injuries. The woman was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment in conscious state.
Initial investigations revealed that the woman disputed with her 57-year-old husband and was attacked by the husband with a knife. Police arrested the 57-year-old man at scene that day. He was holding charged with one count of wounding and appeared before Tuen Mun Magistrates’ Courts on October 7.
Active investigations by the District Investigation Team of Yuen Long are under way.
