The Town Planning Board today (October 28) announced amendments to the approved Hung Hom Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
      
     The amendments mainly involve rezoning of a site at Lee Kung Street from "Government, Institution or Community" to "Residential (Group A)" and inclusion of "Art Studio (excluding those involving direct provision of services or goods)" as a Column 1 use under Schedule II of the "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Business" zone and corresponding amendment to replace "Place of Recreation, Sports or Culture" under Column 2 by "Place of Recreation, Sports or Culture (not elsewhere specified)" of the said zone. In addition, the railway schemes for the Mass Transit Railway Kwun Tong Line Extension and Shatin to Central Link authorised by the Chief Executive in Council under the Railways Ordinance (Chapter 519) on November 30, 2010 and March 27, 2012 are shown on the OZP for information. Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings.
      
     The draft Urban Renewal Authority (URA) Chun Tin Street/Sung Chi Street Development Scheme Plan (DSP) No. S/K9/URA1/1 and URA Hung Fook Street/Ngan Hon Street DSP No. S/K9/URA2/1 have replaced the draft Hung Hom OZP No. S/K9/25 relating to the areas delineated and described therein from the date the exhibition of the DSPs are first notified in the Gazette on October 28.
      
     The draft Hung Hom OZP No. S/K9/25, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the  Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Kowloon District Planning Office and the Kowloon City District Office.
      
     Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of theBoard on or before December 28. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
      
     Copies of the draft Hung Hom OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the draft OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
