The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health today (October 22) reported that the suspected case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) pending results yesterday (October 21) tested negative for MERS Coronavirus upon preliminary testing by the CHP's Public Health Laboratory Services Branch.
