5th Inter-school Competition of Project Learning on Hong Kong's History and Culture results announced

The award presentation ceremony was officiated by member of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture, Mr Terence Fok, and the Museum Director of the Hong Kong Museum of History, Ms Belinda Wong.
The competition was co-organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Hong Kong Museum of History and the Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture, with the theme this year being “Clash and Convergence: The Fusion of Chinese and Western Cultures in Hong Kong”. Through the process of establishing the topics, gathering information and formulating reports, students’ interest in history and their independent thinking ability were enhanced.
The competition attracted 47 entries from 18 schools this year. It consisted of a Junior Secondary Division and a Senior Secondary Division, and each division was further divided into a Written Report Category and a Multimedia Production Category. The winners are as follows:
