Typhoon Haima situation report (3)

     The Hong Kong Observatory replaced the No. 8 Northwest Gale or Storm Signal by the No. 8 Southwest Gale or Storm Signal today (October 21) at 2.15pm.
 
      The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 22 temporary shelters in various districts, with a total of 170 people seeking refuge at the shelters.
 
    The 1823 Government Call Centre has so far received 156 reports of fallen trees. 

     According to the Hospital Authority, so far a total of 12 persons, including six males and six females, aged between 22 and 94, have sought medical treatment at public hospitals during the typhoon period.

     On air traffic, the Airport Authority Hong Kong reported that a total of 742 passenger flights have been cancelled and delayed as at 2pm.
 
    The Drainage Services Department has not received any report of flooding so far.  No report of landslide has been received.
