The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 22 temporary shelters in various districts, with a total of 129 people seeking refuge at the shelters.
The 1823 Government Call Centre has so far received 81 reports of fallen trees.
According to the Hospital Authority, so far a man has sought medical treatment at a public hospital.
On air traffic, the Airport Authority Hong Kong said that a total of 741 passenger flights have been cancelled and delayed as at 11.30am.
The Drainage Services Department has not received any report of flooding so far. No report of landslide has been received.
