Cinematic Theatre to stage new production "The Night when You Come to Repossess the Flat" in December
******************************************************************************************
Cinematic Theatre will stage its latest production, "The Night when You Come to Repossess the Flat" (in Cantonese), in December. The play is written by Siu King-keung and directed by Lo Ching-man. The main cast includes Law Chung-kin and Cheng Ka-chun.

The story centres on two friends, Joseph and David. One evening Joseph, who is David's landlord as well as his old friend, pays a sudden visit. This is more than a casual reunion - Joseph wishes to repossess the flat. Since the lease is yet to expire, David refuses to move out. Neither is able to convince the other. Their argument begins with the flat. It then touches on their mutual relationship with Grace (David's wife), the difficulties of living in Hong Kong and even the value of life. Their conflict is no longer just about the flat, and things spiral out of control.

"The Night when You Come to Repossess the Flat", performed by Cinematic Theatre and presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), will be staged at 8pm from December 8 to 11 (Thursday to Sunday) and at 3pm on December 10 and 11 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Black Box Theatre, Kwai Tsing Theatre. Tickets priced at $200 will be available at URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk) from October 21 (Friday) onwards. For telephone credit card bookings, please call 2111 5999.
