Inclement weather arrangements for candidate nomination of 2016 HKADC Nomination Exercise

     The candidate nomination period for the 2016 exercise for nomination of representatives of arts interests for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council will close at 5pm tomorrow (October 21). The Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) today (October 20) announced the inclement weather arrangements for the candidate nomination period as follows:

     If the Hong Kong Observatory has issued Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Signal but lifts the signal before 9am tomorrow, the deadline for candidate nomination will remain unchanged. The nomination agent will resume service two hours after the lifting of the above signal.

     If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Signal is issued and/or remains in force at or after 9am tomorrow, the deadline for candidate nomination will be extended to 5pm next Monday (October 24).

     Applicants seeking candidature are urged to submit their applications as soon as possible. They should submit completed forms together with all the required supporting documents in person or by their authorised persons to reach Instinctif Partners (Hong Kong) Limited, the nomination agent appointed by the HAB, before the deadline. Applications submitted by post, fax or email will not be accepted.
