SCS to lead delegation of Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Departments to Beijing and Chongqing

     The Secretary for the Civil Service, Mr Clement Cheung, will lead a delegation of 11 Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to Beijing and Chongqing tomorrow (October 16) for a national studies course and visit.

     The trip will help members of the delegation better understand the latest developments in the Mainland and foster liaison between members and Mainland officials.

     In Beijing, the delegation will attend an advanced national studies course at the Chinese Academy of Governance and visit the 4th Army Aviation Brigade. In Chongqing, the delegation will listen to briefings by relevant government officials on the latest developments in the city and visit various key development projects.

     The study and visit trip will conclude on October 22.
