Tender awarded for site in Wong Chuk Hang

     The Lands Department today (October 12) announced that the tender for a site, Aberdeen Inland Lot No. 462 at Yip Kan Street and Wong Chuk Hang Road, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, Grand Apex Limited (parent company: Sino Land Company Limited and Empire Group Holdings Limited), on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $2,528 million.

     The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:

     Aberdeen Inland Lot No. 462 has a site area of about 1,764.8 square metres and is designated for non-residential (excluding hotel, petrol filling station and residential care home) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 15,884 sq m and 26,472 sq m respectively. Both include the gross floor area of Government Accommodation, being an arts and cultural centre and office premises, to be constructed by the purchaser.
