Fatal fire in Hung Hom

The fire broke out at a domestic unit, measures about 6 metres x 5 metres, on the 22nd floor of Hung Yan House at 12.42am today. Firemen used one jet and mobilised one breathing apparatus team to fight the blaze. The fire was largely put out at 1.07am.
An unconscious woman was rescued by firemen from the affected unit. She was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and was certified dead at 1.50am.
Concerning the cause of fire, initial investigations revealed that no suspicious circumstances were noted.
