Special traffic arrangements on Hong Kong Island

(I)
Road closure
------------
Yiu Sing Street will be closed from 5.30am to 12.30pm.
The following roads will be closed from 6am to noon:
- Edinburgh Place east and north of City Hall between Lung Wo Road and Connaught Road Central, except vehicles leaving City Hall car park;
- Lung Wo Road between Fenwick Pier Street and Man Yiu Street, except the slow lane of westbound Lung Wo Road between Tim Wa Avenue and Edinburgh Place;
- Around 30 metres of the slow lane of eastbound Lung Wui Road from the junction of Lung Wo Road; and
- Around 40 metres of the slow lane of southbound Man Yiu Street from the junction of Lung Wo Road between Lung Wo Road and Yiu Sing Street; and
- The pick-up and drop-off and loading and unloading area outside General Post Office, westbound Lung Wo Road.
Traffic diversions
------------------
The following traffic diversions will be implemented from 5.30am to 12.30pm:
- Traffic along southbound Man Yiu Street cannot turn left to Yiu Sing Street;
- Traffic along westbound Lung Wo Road cannot turn right to Yiu Sing Street; and
- Traffic along eastbound Man Po Street cannot enter eastbound Yiu Sing Street and must turn to Man Yiu Street.
The following traffic diversions will be implemented from 6am to noon:
- Traffic along southbound Man Yiu Street cannot turn left to eastbound Lung Wo Road;
- Traffic along eastbound Man Cheung Street cannot enter eastbound Lung Wo Road and must turn to Man Yiu Street;
- Traffic along northbound Edinburgh Place east of City Hall cannot enter westbound Lung Wo Road;
- Traffic along northbound Legislative Council Road cannot turn left to westbound Lung Wo Road. Traffic will be diverted to southbound Legislative Council Road; and
- Traffic along westbound Fenwick Pier Street cannot turn right to westbound Lung Wo Road. Traffic will be diverted to Lung Wui Road or westbound Fenwick Pier Street.
Suspension of parking spaces

All on-street parking spaces, metered parking spaces and motorcycle parking spaces at the open space outside General Post Office, westbound Lung Wo Road will be suspended from 8pm on August 20 to noon the following day.
(II)
Road closure
------------
The following roads will be intermittently closed from 2pm until the crowd is dispersed:
- Kam Hong Street;
- King’s Road;
- Java Road; and
- Man Hong Street.
(III)
Road closure
------------
The following roads will be intermittently closed from 2.30pm until the crowd is dispersed:
- Yee Wo Street;
- Westbound Jardine’s Bazaar;
- Westbound Hennessy Road;
- Queensway;
- Rodney Street; and
- Harcourt Road.
Suspension of parking spaces
----------------------------
Westbound Lung Wui Road layby outside CITIC Tower will be suspended from 1pm to 7pm.
All on-street parking spaces, motorcycle parking spaces and disabled parking spaces at Lung Wui Road opposite CITIC Tower will be suspended from 1pm to 7pm.
Any vehicles found illegally parked within the precinct of the special traffic arrangements will be towed away without prior notice.
Vehicles may not be permitted to leave the car parks along the closed roads.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
