10 more nomination forms for Legislative Council General Election received

     A total of 10 nomination forms for the 2016 Legislative Council General Election were received today (July 28) by the Returning Officers for the five geographical constituencies and the 29 functional constituencies.

     This brings to 146 the total number of nomination forms received since the start of the nomination period on July 16. The nomination period will continue until July 29.

     The Returning Officer for the Engineering functional constituency received a notice of withdrawal of candidature from one nominee today.

     The number of nomination forms received for each geographical constituency is as follows:
